The Marmaris to Fethiye to Marmaris Sail 1 week cruise is for those people that have a little more time to play around with whilst in Turkey and want to get the chance to really see the best of the coast between Marmaris and Fethiye. This route is unique in that you will see different spots along the way on the sail from Marmaris and then on the sail back from Fethiye. So you are spoilt to get to see so much along the way. These cruises are honestly suited for a slightly older crowd or those that are want a guaranteed quieter time on board. These cruises also do not offer single sharing facilities, so any solo traveller will have to pay a single supplement. Please also enquire from the Sail Turkey crew about the age of children if you are thinking of travelling with your family.
The Sail Marmaris cruise is a wonderful blue cruise experience. You get to visit two of the major little seaside towns on the Southern coastline of Turkey, whilst getting to see the best of what is in between from natural beauty to some ancient ruin sights. Although there is less to see on this route, it is still beautiful none the less with some amazing blue waters and the beautiful turquoise waters that are around this area. You will get to spend 2 nights in Marmaris harbour so it will give you plenty of time to get to look around this seaside town and enjoy its wonderful bazaar and shopping. You will also get the time to spend one night in Fethiye Harbour so you can enjoy the wonderful restaurants and nightlife this seaside town has to offer. Along with the natural beauty of this Marmaris to Fethiye to Marmaris Sail you also see some ancient sights along the way including Cleopatra's pools as well as the Dalyan Rock Tombs.
The Marmaris Sail gulet cruise used a typical standard Turkish gulet. There are usually about 8 cabins on board and all cabins have a double bed with a private bathroom. We supply bedding for you to use including sheets and blankets but we do not have towels on board, so we kindly ask that you bring these on with you. You will have up to 3 to 4 crew members on board as Captain, Sailor and chef who are all there to look after you throughout your Sail Marmaris cruise. There is plenty of deck space on these boats with sunbed area and also sun lounge areas that are shaded in case you feel like you have had enough sun.

Marmaris - Fethiye - Marmaris Gulet Cruise Itinerary
Today is meeting day. You will be asked to contact our office at least 24 hours prior. We will send you information of where to meet and usually the time is 3:30pm. Please note that there is no pick up service offered for this cruise. Once you meet the friendly ground crew they will then take you down to the harbour to jump on board and meet your crew. You will be allocated your cabin and then get the chance to look around the boat, make yourselves at home and meet your new friends whom you will be now travelling the amazing Marmaris Sail cruise with. Dinner will be served on board tonight, but you have the afternoon and evening to explore Marmaris as you wish. You may like to take in a spot of shopping or you may like to just enjoy the beautiful harbour and sit in one of the many cafes to have a cold or hot drink. (D)
Marmaris to Ekincik Bay
Today it is time to leave the harbour behind you and sail out in the beautiful turquoise waters of the southern coastline of Turkey. Enjoy the views as you cruise onto Ekincik Bay. Here you have the choice go participate in one of the optional excursions onto Dalyan to see the famous Rock Tombs. This optional activity will take you out onto the near by lake, along to Turtle Beach and then you also get to visit the Dalyan mud baths. If you would prefer to stay on the boat - the choice is yours. For those who stay behind you will get to enjoy time to swim and spend time in the beautiful surroundings and if you are up for some action there is water sports on offer in this area as well. Ekincik Bay to Tersane Island
Today is the day to explore some of the more natural beauty in the area as well as some ancient ruins. After breakfast it will be time to cruise onto Aga Limani Bay. There is a small beach here that you can swim to if you want to wander onto the land or you can just enjoy swimming around the boat. There will be another swim in the Bay of Manastir before you get to visit one of the highlights of your trip - the Cleopatra Pools, also known as Hamam Bay. What you see today are the ruins of the old hamam in the water here that you can swim through. It also gets it name from Cleopatra as it was rumoured that she ordered the white sand from Egypt to come and line these shores. After time here to explore the evening will be anchored down at Tersane Island - the largest in the Gulf of Fethiye. (B, L, D)
Tersane Island to Fethiye
Today it is time to spend in the area known as 12 Island of Fethiye. The whole area as we reach closer to Fethiye Harbour is surrounded by little islands. First stop of the day will be Red Island. The island is given its name for all the small red pebbles that line its shore. You will get to enjoy a swim here before it will be time to head into Fethiye Harbour. You will arrive in the afternoon just after lunch, so will give you plenty of time to go and explore. The harbour is right at the heart of town, so it is a close walk to wander into the old town of Fethiye to have a look through the shops, enjoy a cold drink or just sit along the beautiful harbour. If you feel like you have the energy you can walk to the Lycian Rock Tombs or you may like to even jump on a bus to visit the old Greek ghost town - Kayakoy. The afternoon is yours to decide what to do before dinner will be served back on the boat. After dinneryou can go back into Fethiye to explore further if you like - the shops are open to late. Fethiye to Gulf of Fethiye
Today is one of the laziest days on the cruise. It is all about relaxing, sleeping and maybe catching up on that book you have been meaning to read for so long now. After breakfast you will sail out back into the 12 Islands of Fethiye. You will cruise past islands you didn't see before and get to stop for swims along the way at other islands and beautiful bays before anchoring down that evening in a beautiful secluded bay for another night under the stars. Gulf of Fethiye to Aga Limani Bay
Today it is time to see more ruins. Your Sail Mamaris cruise will take you onto a very popular bay in the area Bedri Rahmi Bay. Getting its name from a famous poet who came to visit - you should see his face painted onto one of the rock faces. This bay is known for its beauty and you will get time to swim around and you may like to swim to the shore as there are scattered ruins all through the pine trees that line the shore. There will be another stop today at Domuz (Pork) Island before anchoring down at Aga Limani Bay for the evening. (B, L, D)
Aga Limani Bay to Marmaris
This morning your crew will head off early to cover the longest distance of your week long journey. You will stop at Kumlubuk Bay for breakfast and a swim. This is one of the longest stretches of beach along this coastline - so enjoy the beauty of it before you will be taken onto Cennet Island where it is time to enjoy your swimming time as this is your last chance before you will end up back in Marmaris this afternoon. Enjoy the beautiful turquoise and blue waters. Around 4:00pm this afternoon you will be back where you started a week ago in Marmaris Harbour. Again dinner is served on board & then the night is yours to go back into town to explore, shop or just enjoy a drink. (B, L, D)
This morning your wonderful week upon your Marmaris to Fethiye to Marmaris Sail has come to an end. It is time to bid your friendly crew goodbye and also new friends you have made along the way. You will be served breakfast before its time to go pack your bags and check out of your Turkish gulet, the place you have called home for the last week. Your Marmaris Sail has come to an end. Please let the Sail Turkey staff know if you would require any assistance on getting from Marmaris to your next destination. They can assist with bus tickets and or private transfers, including back to Dalaman Airport.(B)
IMPORTANT NOTICE: although we use the word sail, our Turkish gulets actually cruise with their motors. No sailing is normally done along this coastline. All efforts are made to follow this itinerary, however if there is poor weather the schedule may change. This will be up to the Captain's discretion. Your safety is our number one priority. This cruise operated with Standard/Classic gulets. Gulets does not have A/C. All our Gulets have yacht insurance. We advise all travelers to take out their own individual travel insurance. For this route, we (Alaturka) may use different operator/gulets than our own.

Please be aware that all the harbours can be quiet noisy.
INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS
- Port and marina fees, taxes and fuel are all included in your cabin charter package price.
- Passengers have the use of all standard yachting equipment on board. This includes snorkels and masks and board games.
- Bath / Beach towels may not be provided on this cabin charter. You must bring along. The towels on board cannot be used for swimming and sunbaking.
- Entrance fees and optional activities are not included in the cabin charter price.
MEALS & DRINKS
Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and snacks are included in the cabin charter. Drinks are not provided in your cabin charter package. On this cabin charter, you may not bring along your own drinks. All drinks including water are sold onboard. A bar tab is set up for the duration of the week. All bar tabs are paid on the conclusion of your cruise.
Dietary requirements are not accepted/prepared on this route, guests who have dietary needs must bring own additional food onboard.
Allocation of cabins is done on site. All cabins on these cruises are for two people in usually a double cabin layout. Single travelers cannot share cabins with other individuals on the cruise. - Your cabin charter is a non-guided tour. There is no local guide on board providing information on the sites and locations.
- Children under 12 years old are not allowed on this cabin charter. 12+ years old are at full cabin charter price.
