Today you will start your cruise around midday when you board your gulet. You will then head out of Demre harbour and onto Pirates Cave. Depending on sea conditions you will have time to explore the inside of this dark cave before we will cruise on for the Sunken City of Kekova. This is an ancient town that dates back 2000 years to the Lycian period and was destroyed by an earthquake, so what you see now are the remnants of the old village falling into and laying beneath the oceans surface. You will cruise over this protected World Heritage site nice and slow to enjoy the view, however no swimming, diving or snorkelling is allowed in this area. Your captain will then steer the yacht across to Simena Castle where you can be taken ashore and choose to walk to the top to witness a magical view over the bay, or you may like to just sit in one of the cafes along the way. Tonight you will spend the night in Gokkaya Bay. Here there is the chance to go party at the nearby island disco of Smuggler's Inn. Meet up with other travellers for a night of dancing under the stars. If you are interested a free boat service will pick you up and bring you back when ready. If not, you are more than welcome to simply relax and chill out on the yacht.
